Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eric White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mareks Stepaneks!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands a slapping body shot.
Stepaneks misses with a takedown
and White counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
White scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stepaneks doesn't seem bothered though.
White throws a series of punches but Stepaneks moves out of range.
Stepaneks doesn't succeed with the takedown
and White counters with a left and a right that stings Stepaneks.
White swinging wildly here.

White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stepaneks moves away.
White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
White scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stepaneks showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from White.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stepaneks finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
White fails to land with a series of punches.
Stepaneks with a poor takedown
and White counters with a nice body shot.
Eric White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mareks Stepaneks.

White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stepaneks manages to avoid it.

White swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and White counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Mareks Stepaneks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Eric White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White throws a nice looking combination but Stepaneks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Stepaneks has his takedown stuffed
and White counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stepaneks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
White scores with a hook to the body. Stepaneks takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Eric White dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


White fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stepaneks looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Stepaneks takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


Stepaneks is rocked!
White lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Stepaneks is still on wobbly legs! Can White finish him?
Stepaneks misses with a takedown attempt
and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
White drops Stepaneks with a huge uppercut! Stepaneks drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. White is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
