Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rush going down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mac animal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mac animal will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
going down shoots in for a takedown but animal shows good takedown defense.
animal tries a head kick but it misses.
going down shoots in for a double leg but animal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rush going down. That's going to take a lot out of him.
going down fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

mac animal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

animal forces going down back against the cage and clinches.

animal throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but going down blocks it with crossed arms.
going down tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

animal is pressed up against the cage. going down has hold of a leg and is looking to drag animal down to the mat. animal avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
animal tries a head kick but it misses.

animal shoots in and bounces going down off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
going down wants to sweep here but animal controlling him for the moment.

going down has his foot on animal's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. animal works his way back into a safe position though.
going down tries to land a sweep but no joy.

going down is looking to sinch up a triangle. animal throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to going down's body to avoid the submission. going down has instead reached around animal's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! going down arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
