The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Lisser fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Silva checks it well.
Lisser avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lisser throws the kick towards the body but Silva avoids it.
An inside leg kick from Lisser misses.
Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lisser's head.
Silva slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Matt Lisser has been cut.
Lisser wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Lisser closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Lisser pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lisser stands and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Silva avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lisser.
Silva is trying to get back to half guard.
Lisser working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Lisser has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lisser cracks Silva with a big right hand but Silva just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
