Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Albert Fish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stann Stone!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone closes the distance and clinches.
Stone managing to block the knees to the body from Fish.
Stone with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Albert Fish has been cut.
Fish lands a body punch.
Fish lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Fish struggles to land a body shot inside as Stone controls his hands.
Stone has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fish is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fish takes an elbow to the temple.
Stone utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Fish tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Stone's elbow.

Stone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fish tries to clinch but Stone moves out of range.

Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fish throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Stone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stone showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Fish tries to get to full guard but Stone has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fish wants to control but Stone is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fish tries to roll over but Stone keeps him under control.

Stone wants to take a breather but Fish is having none of it.

Stone wants to pass to mount but Fish is defending the position.

Stone wants to free his trapped foot but Fish is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Stone thows a huge punch but Fish dodges it nicely.

Fish is defending against the submission attempts here by Stone.

Stone looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fish throws a jab when Stone was well out of range.

Stone clinches up against the cage.
Fish tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Fish misses with a hook to the ribs.
Fish gets through Stone's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stone shoots in for a takedown but Fish shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fish on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stone. Stone obviously looking to wear him down.
Fish throws a leg kick that is checked
and Stone counters with a nice body kick.

Stone rushes Fish and presses him up against the cage.
Fish is working Stone over against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stone with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Fish is fighting off a takedown attempt but Stone is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fish to the mat. Fish regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Stone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fish's guard.
Fish wants to improve his position but Stone is controlling well.
Stone works his foot free and advances to mount.
Fish tries to hold on but Stone pushes him away.

Fish keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Fish regains half guard.
Stone moves nicely into side control.
Stone trying to control the position but Fish is working away.
Fish takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Stone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fish can't do much from the bottom here.

Fish is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Stone wants to control but Fish is keeping him busy.
Fish knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stone on the ground.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fish is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fish is looking to regain half guard here but Stone keeps moving and retains side control.

Stone tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Stone is trying to get an arm triangle but Fish is defending well.
Fish pushes Stone away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stone gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Fish is trying to control Stone's posture but Stone avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stone goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fish rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Stone's guard! Nice work there by Fish!

Stone is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fish is aware though and is defending well.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fish can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stann Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Fish is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fish takes a kick to the side of the head.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fish paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fish missing with a left hand there. Stone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stone tries to clinch up but Fish circles away and keeps his distance.
Stann Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fish lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stone circles away quickly and effectively.
Stone moves away from the strike by Fish.
Fish throws an off balance right hand
and Stone counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Stone keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fish.
Stone swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fish lands a nice hook to Stone's body. Stone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Stone has a takedown stuffed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fish fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stone manages to avoid it.

Stone steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fish.
A slow jab from Fish misses its intended target.
Fish connects with a looping right hand.
Stone moves out of range of the strikes.
Fish misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stone.
Stone tries to clinch up but Fish circles away and keeps his distance.
Good shot there by Fish.
Stone misses with a double jab.
Fish motions for Stone to come forward. Fish throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stone avoids the body shot from Fish.
Stone shoots in for a double leg but Fish sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Albert Fish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stann Stone.
Stone blocks a jab.
Fish takes a swing at Stone's ribcage but misses.
Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fish pinned against the cage. Fish gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Albert Fish has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Stone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fish misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stone.
Stone fails with a takedown attempt.
Stone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fish as he jumps to the side.
Stone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fish.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fish swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stone misses with a wild combination.
A punch combination from Fish misses.
Fish misses with a hook. Stone ducked under it nicely.
Fish tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stone was well out of range. Poor timing from Fish.
Stone slips a straight right by Fish.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Fish. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fish throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fish on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Stone shoots in and bounces Fish off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Fish is retaining full guard.

Stone prevents Fish from getting back to his feet.

Stone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Stone slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Stone tries to move to mount but Fish blocks the move with his legs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fish has escaped the position, nice work there.

Stone has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fish is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Stone yanks on the arm and Fish is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Stone.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Stann Stone!
Stann Stone gave a mention to Syndicate Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
