Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Jonsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Cronkite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonsson's entrance music is Mötley Crüe - Kickstart My Heart. A fine choice. Cronkite has chosen Croc song! as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cronkite changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jonsson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Cronkite working the ground and pound but Jonsson is defending the strikes.
Jonsson tries to buck Cronkite off but Cronkite is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Cronkite wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jonsson, who protects the arm well.

Cronkite creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jonsson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Cronkite is looking to take a break and control but Jonsson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jonsson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cronkite is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cronkite and Jonsson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jonsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cronkite has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jonsson has managed to get both his arms back between Cronkite's legs - danger averted.

Cronkite cracks Jonsson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Cronkite has control of Jonsson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jonsson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
