The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ketchup on his heels. He'll look to pass Ketchup's guard now, I'm sure.
Ketchup managing to control the position.

Bonan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ketchup keeping moving, preventing Bonan from controlling successfully.
Ketchup is controlling Bonan's posture.
Ketchup looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ketchup pulls Bonan in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by John Ketchup.
Ketchup darts in trying to clinch
and Bonan counters with a left and a right that stings Ketchup.
Bonan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ketchup doesn't manage to clinch there - Bonan circles away.
Ketchup with a lazy takedown attempt

and Bonan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ketchup's guard.

Ketchup looking for a guillotine here but Bonan defends easily.
Ketchup wants to sweep here but Bonan controlling him for the moment.

Bonan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ketchup on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bonan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ketchup lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Pixar Bonan has been cut.
Bonan tests Ketchup's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Ketchup moves to clinch but Bonan breaks away
and Bonan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ketchup is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Pixar Bonan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bonan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Ketchup is rocked!
Ketchup is trying to get back to half guard.

Bonan decides to stand back up.
Good work by Ketchup as he checks the leg kick.
Ketchup avoids the head kick by Bonan.
Ketchup tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bonan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ketchup somewhat.
Bonan leaves Ketchup with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pixar Bonan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Ketchup.
Bonan tries to bum rush Ketchup with a series of wild strikes but Ketchup uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Bonan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ketchup thinking.

Bonan misses with a few strikes there.
Ketchup moves forwards but Bonan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ketchup gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Ketchup tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Bonan is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Ketchup buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Ketchup!! Ketchup is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Bonan throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
