Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mina Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samson has chosen Soliders logic as his entrance music. Mina Samson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Samson.
Samson misses with a wild body shot.

Samson looking to score a takedown here. Silva is defending well but Samson drives through and ends up in Silva's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Samson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Samson trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Samson wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard.
Samson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Samson is taking a breather. Silva says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Samson is pressing down on Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silva is holding on for now.
Silva is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Samson instigates a clinch.
Samson tries to pull guard but Silva holds him up against the cage and eventually Samson drops back down to his feet.

Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Samson moves out of range easily.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Samson is breathing heavily.
Silva moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Samson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Silva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Silva duly obliges.

It looks like Mina Samson has been cut.

Silva cracks Samson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Samson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Silva finish him?

Samson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva lands a big right hook! Samson looks hurt but is still standing! Silva lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Samson falls down and Silva dives in with a huge hammer fist! Samson's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Silva runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Anderson Silva took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
