McNulty comes into the arena with Enter Sandman by Metallica blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNulty lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gomes shoots in but McNulty avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McNulty catches Gomes with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gomes on the wrong end of a nice hook.
McNulty scores with a hook to the body. Gomes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gomes rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McNulty connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That kick from McNulty tenderised Gomes's leg. Gomes is trying to keep his angry face on.
McNulty dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McNulty uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gomes has time to react.
McNulty lands a jab.
McNulty lands with a cross.
Gomes takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nice takedown defense from McNulty . No joy for Gomes on that attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McNulty scores with a sloppy right hand. Gomes should have avoided that one.
McNulty circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Gomes drops to the canvas, hurt badly! McNulty follows Gomes to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
