Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Verchanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Verchanko misses with a two punch combination.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Green is defended easily by Verchanko.
Verchanko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Green moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Verchanko tries to bum rush Green with a series of wild strikes but Green uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Green ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Green looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Green takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Green counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Verchanko thinking.

Green walks into a left hand.
Verchanko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Verchanko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Green.
Ivan Verchanko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Landon Green.
Green tries to score a power double leg takedown but Verchanko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Green somewhat.
Green shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Verchanko pinned against the cage. Verchanko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
