Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hiroto Ito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazarus Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiroto Ito has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Ito or perhaps it was just good defense by Po which made him look bad.
Ito looks for a takedown but Po sprawls well.
Ito shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ito walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Ito throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Po's waist but Po gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ito off to one side.

Hiroto Ito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Po lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ito backwards.
Po lands a good knee to the midsection. Ito won't want to take too many of those.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ito. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Po tries to close the distance and clinch but Ito swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Po lands a big head kick that sends Ito tumbling to the mat! Po takes a step backwards and waves Ito back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Po jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Po throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Po lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Po tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ito avoids it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ito is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Well Po has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
