Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kalevi Commando Kukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - All Along The Watchtower kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukkonen throws a nice outside leg kick.
McClane takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kukkonen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kukkonen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McClane.
Kukkonen moves out of range as McClane throws a body kick.
Kukkonen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kukkonen thumps McClane with a low kick.
McClane throws a leg kick that is checked
enabling Kukkonen to counter with a crisp jab.
Kukkonen works the jab nicely.
Kukkonen takes a swing at McClane's ribcage but misses.
McClane misses with a wild body shot.
McClane lands with a nice combination. Kukkonen backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Kalevi Commando Kukkonen has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McClane motions for Kukkonen to come forward. McClane throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circling - McClane throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kukkonen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McClane swivels and escapes.

and McClane counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kukkonen's knee momentarily.

Kukkonen throws a hook to the side of McClane's head but McClane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Some bone on bone action there as Kukkonen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

McClane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kukkonen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and McClane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

McClane has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
McClane fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kukkonen checks it well.

Kukkonen throws a wild body kick that McClane sees coming a mile off.
McClane misses with a low kick.

McClane takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kukkonen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McClane was well out of range. Poor timing from Kukkonen.

Kukkonen cracks McClane with an open hand slap.
Kukkonen throws a hook but McClane blocks it.
McClane walks straight into a right hand from Kukkonen - that's dropped him! Kukkonen jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save McClane from any more punishment! McClane complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
