Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Andaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Addison Deersworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deersworth comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Warrior's Call by Volbeat kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Keith Andaya has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Keith Andaya seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andaya feints a jab promting Deersworth to slip. Andaya then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Deersworth slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Andaya connects with a crisp jab.
Deersworth misses with a lunging right hand
and Andaya makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Andaya thows a body shot but no joy.

Andaya closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Deersworth wants to take a breather but Andaya is having none of it.
Deersworth is looking to advance position but Andaya won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Keith Andaya.

Deersworth fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Andaya checks it well.
Deersworth tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Andaya swivels and escapes.
Andaya is looking to wear down Deersworth with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Deersworth tries to bum rush Andaya with a series of wild strikes but Andaya uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Keith Andaya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Addison Deersworth.

Andaya tries to keep at a distance but Deersworth has taken the fight into the clinch.

Andaya dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Addison Deersworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Deersworth counters by moving into the clinch.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Deersworth keeps control of Andaya as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Andaya is trying to maintain a safe position but Deersworth gets an underhook and turns Andaya into the cage.

Deersworth pushes off an throws an elbow but Andaya leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Deersworth throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keith Andaya will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Deersworth pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Deersworth displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Andaya.
Andaya lands with a shot to the body.
Andaya scores with a decent looking hook.
Andaya tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Deersworth was well out of range. Poor timing from Andaya.

and Andaya counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Andaya drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andaya jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Deersworth wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Andaya is now in half guard.

Andaya seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Deersworth is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
