The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Diza counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stone thinking.

Stone closes the distance looking to clinch

Stone throws out a leg kick but Diza moves out of range and Stone only half commits.
Diza throws a jab but it's blocked by Stone.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diza is trying to break the clinch but Stone is controlling him.

Stone creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Diza's defenses.
Stone pushes off an throws an elbow but Diza leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Stone lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Stone wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Diza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Stone throws a series of punches but Diza avoids them all with ease.

Diza throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stone on the side of the head.
Diza changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Diza connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diza throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stone stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sloppy strikes from Diza. Those never looked like landing.
Diza misses with a jab, cross combination.

letting Diza counter with a right hand.
Stone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Diza lands a slapping body shot.
Diza throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diza fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Diza fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stone on the side of the head.
Stone takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Diza connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stone momentarily.
Diza cracks Stone with a good jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Diza cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Diza scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stone in his tracks.
Stone tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Diza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stone is still on wobbly legs! Can Diza finish him?
Diza throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Stone crashing down! Stone tries to stagger back to his feet but Diza just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Stone asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
