Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shinobi Wan Kenobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Avalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wan Kenobi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Brand New - Welcome To Bangkok. The crowd seem to be enjoying Avalon's choice of entrance music: Eye of the Tiger. On his way into the cage it seems that Shinobi Wan Kenobi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shinobi Wan Kenobi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Wan Kenobi misses
and Avalon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wan Kenobi.
Wan Kenobi throws a sloppy head kick and Avalon moves out of range easily.
Wan Kenobi tries a head kick but it misses.
Wan Kenobi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Avalon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Avalon.
It looks like Shinobi Wan Kenobi has been cut.
Wan Kenobi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Avalon throws a right and a left that Wan Kenobi avoids nicely.
Avalon misses with an uppercut.
Wan Kenobi lands the left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Avalon getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Wan Kenobi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wan Kenobi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wan Kenobi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Avalon as he jumps to the side.

Avalon missing with a left hand there. Wan Kenobi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Avalon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wan Kenobi.
Avalon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wan Kenobi at a distance.
Wan Kenobi fails to land with a series of punches.
Wan Kenobi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Junior Avalon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Avalon digs a good hook to Wan Kenobi's body.
Avalon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wan Kenobi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Avalon is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wan Kenobi rather than just go for the knockout.

Wan Kenobi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Avalon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That kick from Wan Kenobi tenderised Avalon's leg. Avalon is trying to keep his angry face on.
Avalon just misses with a punch to the body.
Avalon jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Danga de danga de dang - Avalon scores with a four punch combination!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wan Kenobi. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Wan Kenobi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Avalon tries to bum rush Wan Kenobi with a series of wild strikes but Wan Kenobi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Avalon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wan Kenobi throws out the jab.

Avalon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Wan Kenobi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wan Kenobi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wan Kenobi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Avalon has time to react.
Avalon throws a jab but it's blocked by Wan Kenobi.
Avalon looks to land a combination. Wan Kenobi sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Wan Kenobi is rocked!
Avalon ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Wan Kenobi out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Junior Avalon!
