PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drunk Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ZyD XyD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). XyD has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
XyD throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
XyD looks winded!
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but XyD is just out of range.
XyD swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones scores with a hook to the body. XyD takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jones. XyD shrugs it off though.
Jones throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Jones with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jones lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.

It looks like ZyD XyD has been cut.
Jones chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones throws a shot to the body.
Jones connects with a good right hand that stumbles XyD. XyD circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jones scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jones throws a head kick but XyD moves out of range.
XyD has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from XyD there as he acknowledges the shot.

XyD is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
XyD is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
XyD wants to stay close but Jones steps back to make room for something. XyD seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Jones and XyD drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
