Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tadhg Forte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billie Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Forte might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to First Of The Year. Billie Moore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tadhg Forte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billie Moore!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forte throws a sloppy head kick and Moore moves out of range easily.
Forte cracks Moore with a good jab.
It looks like Billie Moore has been cut.
Moore misses with a takedown attempt
and Forte counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Forte breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moore is looking to clinch.
Moore tries to close the distance and clinch but Forte swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Moore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Forte counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Moore gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Forte counters with a stiff right hand.
Tadhg Forte has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billie Moore.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moore misses with a takedown
and Forte counters with a takedown into side control.
Moore is looking for a sweep.
Forte creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Moore sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Forte advances nicely into full mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Moore working to try and regain half guard.
Moore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Forte. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Forte looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Moore tries to reverse the position but Forte maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Forte landing strikes from the mount and Moore is in trouble!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moore can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Forte cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Moore is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Moore looks winded!
Forte misses with a head shot.
Forte cracks Moore with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That has opened up Billie Moore's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Forte trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Forte has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Moore's face.
Moore is rocked!
The cut above Billie Moore's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moore swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Forte has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Forte with shots to the head and body - Moore looks very uncomfortable down there.
Moore is still in real trouble! Can Forte finish him?
Billie Moore's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Billie Moore's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tadhg Forte!
Tadhg Forte took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
