Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slice closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Slice lands in his opponent's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rush can do anything to dispel that myth.
Slice prevents Rush from getting back to his feet.
Rush is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Slice is looking to control Rush 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Slice avoid being mounted?
Rush misses with a head shot. Slice uses the momentum to regain guard.

Slice drops back looking for a leg! Rush is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rush manages to kick Slice off! Slice jumps back into Rush 's guard.
Slice trying to control but Rush is working from the bottom.
Rush really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Slice postures up.
Rush is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Slice avoids the head kick by Rush .

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rush throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Slice sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rush shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well.
Rush looks gassed!
Rush slips a jab and a cross from Slice.
Slice shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rush pinned against the cage. Rush gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Slice blocks a head kick by Rush .

Slice has closed the distance and engaged Rush in a clinch.
Slice tries for a takedown. No joy.
Slice blocking some punches.

Slice manages to break the clinch.
Slice throws a right hand that Rush ducks under and follows up with a left that Rush also avoids with ease.
A punch combination from Slice misses.
Slice throws a leg kick which misses Rush 's front leg but catches the back leg as Rush tries to avoid it.
Rush loads up on a big right hand but Slice slips the punch.
Rush misses with an uppercut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slice shoots in for a takedown but Rush shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimbo Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rush tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice jab there from Slice.

Slice gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Slice ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Slice no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Slice lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rush !
Slice tries to control but Rush wriggling away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slice stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Rush fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Slice uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rush .
Nice sprawl there from Rush as Slice shoots in.
Slice changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rush tries to avoid it but Slice manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rush to the ground. Rush escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slice takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rush avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rush lands a body shot.

Slice scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimbo Slice dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Slice takes the fight into the clinch.
Slice is looking to control Rush 's arms but Rush gets an underhook and turns him. Now Slice has his back to the cage.
Slice drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Slice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Slice takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rush throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Slice crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Zeb Rush !
