Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danico Conde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mablung Bloodguard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloodguard fails with a takedown attempt.
Conde wants to clinch.
Bloodguard tries a head kick but it misses.
Conde closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bloodguard goes for a takedown in the clinch but Conde prevents it.
Bloodguard managing to block the knees to the body from Conde.
Conde has had enough of the clinch but Bloodguard keeps him there for the moment.
Bloodguard has Conde pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Conde manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Danico Conde is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Conde tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bloodguard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Conde somewhat.

Bloodguard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Conde is just riding it out for now. Bloodguard eventually gives up the hold.

Mablung Bloodguard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Conde looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Bloodguard! Submission of the night perhaps?
