Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keita Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demetrius Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Miller's choice of entrance music: Tech N9ne-Worldwide Choppers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Keita Aoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Demetrius Miller!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki looks for a takedown but Miller sprawls well.
Miller scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


It looks like Keita Aoki has been cut.
Miller misses with a right hand

and Aoki counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Miller striking off his back but it's not causing Aoki any problems.
Miller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Miller seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Miller is trying to control the position but Aoki postures up.
Miller tries to strike from the bottom.
Aoki chips away with some ground and pound.

Aoki has gone for a leg lock! Miller slips out almost immediately though and dives into Aoki's guard.
Miller with a flurry of punches that miss.

Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aoki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Aoki's legs - danger averted.
Miller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Aoki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Aoki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aoki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Aoki working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Miller.
Miller trying to control but Aoki is working from the bottom.
Aoki is trying to keep Miller in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Miller throws a big right hand that misses.
Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Miller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Aoki keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.

Miller is sitting in close to Aoki's body. Aoki has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Miller is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Miller is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Aoki.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Keita Aoki!
Keita Aoki decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
