The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slayer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. omaplat looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
omaplat looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A lull in the action here.

Slayer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Slayer shoots in and drives through. omaplat sprawls well.

Slayer gets caught flat footed, as omaplat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

omaplat has gone for a leg lock! Slayer slips out almost immediately though and dives into omaplat's guard.

omaplat has his foot on Slayer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slayer works his way back into a safe position though.

omaplat is trying to control the position but Slayer postures up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Slayer is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but omaplat has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Slayer is looking to defend but omaplat has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Slayer! omaplat pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Slayer taps out and this one is all over!
