Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Cavil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otis Gein!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavil wants to clinch up but Gein keeps it at a distance.
Cavil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gein swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gein wants the takedown. Cavil is fighting it off but Gein persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cavil's guard against the cage.

Gein is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Cavil pushes Gein off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Gein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cavil doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Gein is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
