With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Master Oogway!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akamai looks to land a combination but Oogway avoids it well.
Oogway shoots for a takedown but Akamai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Akamai lands a right hook to the body.
Akamai scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Akamai scores with a shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Oogway.
Nice takedown defense from Akamai. No joy for Oogway on that attempt.
Felix Akamai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Master Oogway.
Akamai lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Akamai.

Akamai looks to land a combination. Oogway sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Akamai tries to bum rush Oogway with a series of wild strikes but Oogway uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Oogway closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Oogway lands in his opponent's guard.

Akamai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oogway can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oogway really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Akamai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Akamai looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Oogway is defending well. Akamai quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Oogway has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Akamai celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
