The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lunlana swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Black drops back looking for a leg! Lunlana is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lunlana manages to kick Black off! Black jumps back into Lunlana's guard.

Black has gone for a leg lock! Lunlana slips out almost immediately though and dives into Black's guard.
Black has a closed guard, preventing Lunlana from standing up.
Lunlana stands and steps away. Black gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Black.
I think Lunlana has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
