The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Podgaetschii ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ramirez moves away.

Podgaetschii rushes Ramirez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Podgaetschii keeps control of Ramirez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Podgaetschii misses with a body punch.
Ramirez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Ramirez has had enough of the clinch but Podgaetschii keeps him there for the moment.
Podgaetschii wants a takedown but no success here.

Podgaetschii has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ramirez uses from the top position.
Ramirez tries to stand but Podgaetschii is controlling from the bottom.
