The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cody darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Diggler kicks off Cody and gets to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Cody.
Diggler is trying to get back to half guard.
Cody is looking to take a break and control but Diggler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Diggler tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Cody presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Diggler is controlling an arm, preventing Cody from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Diggler gets back to half guard.
Diggler pushes Cody off looking to stand but Cody dives back in and keeps control.
Cody is pressing down on Diggler's thigh, looking to free his foot. Diggler is holding on for now.
Diggler wants to get back to his feet.
Cody passes into side control, despite Diggler's attempt to control the position.
Diggler is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Cody is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Diggler looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cody gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Diggler is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cody lets go of the hold and Diggler can pop his arm back in it's socket.
