Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Colt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman stuffs the takedown.
Jackson Colt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoffman misses with a wild body shot.
Colt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hoffman.
Colt shoots for a takedown but Hoffman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Colt counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hoffman won't be happy with that.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Colt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hoffman walks away with a smile on his face. Colt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Colt misses with a takedown attempt - Hoffman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Colt shoots in but Hoffman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Colt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Colt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hoffman did well to prevent Colt getting side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Colt misses with a head shot. Hoffman uses the momentum to regain guard.

Colt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hoffman drops Colt with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hoffman follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
