Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Tracey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tracey is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Seek & Destroy. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Tracey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith tries to clinch up but Tracey circles away and keeps his distance.

Smith walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Smith misses with a body kick.
Smith takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tracey on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Smith tries to land a leg kick but Tracey saw it coming and moves away.
Tracey throws a push kick but Smith slaps the foot to one side.
Smith tries to land a front kick but Tracey steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Smith lands an elbow inside that Tracey shrugs off.

Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tracey steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Smith. That one must have hurt.

Tracey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.

That was a close round but I would say that Dave Smith will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tracey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tracey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
