Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Magenta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willis's entrance music is Hometown Hero. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magenta slaps away a takedown attempt from Willis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Willis connects with a nice looking jab.

Magenta stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Magenta wants it to stay on the feet.
Magenta tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Willis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Willis shoots in looking for a takedown but Magenta manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Willis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Willis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Magenta.
Magenta tries a head kick but it misses.
Willis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Willis throws a right hand that Magenta ducks under and follows up with a left that Magenta also avoids with ease.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Magenta lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Willis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Willis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Patrick Willis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Willis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Willis throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Magenta throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Willis is defended easily by Magenta.

Magenta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Magenta ducks under a wild hook from Willis.
Magenta uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Willis has time to react.
Magenta stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Magenta pushes Willis up against the cage in a clinch.
Magenta lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Willis.
Willis is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Magenta jumps guard and drags Willis to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Magenta has his foot on Willis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Willis works his way back into a safe position though.
Magenta had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Willis defends it easily.
Magenta has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Willis doesn't defend quickly enough and Magenta has managed to lock this one up! Can Willis escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Magenta on a fantastic submission victory.
