Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jail Bonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ismo Laippela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laippela has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Ismo Laippela will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonnen throws a hook but Laippela avoids it easily.
Laippela pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bonnen swings for the body but Laippela moves out of range.
Bonnen cracks Laippela with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bonnen checks a leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Laippela moves away from the strike by Bonnen.
Bonnen swings for the body but Laippela moves out of range.
Bonnen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Laippela staying out of range there.
Laippela misses with a series of wild punches.
Bonnen tries for a takedown but Laippela sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Laippela. Bonnen does a little dance to reset his feet.
A big left from Bonnen misses.
Bonnen looks for a takedown but Laippela sprawls well.
Laippela fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bonnen is out of range.
Horrible takedown by Bonnen or perhaps it was just good defense by Laippela which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jail Bonnen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Laippela throws a lazy right hand but Bonnen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bonnen throws a leg kick which misses Laippela's front leg but catches the back leg as Laippela tries to avoid it.

Bonnen throws out a loose jab but Laippela uses good head movement to avoid it.

Laippela closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bonnen to the mat! Bonnen manages to get full guard.

Bonnen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Laippela has his hands clasped together but Bonnen extends an breaks Laippela's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bonnen.
