The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Bones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stroud is trying to defend but Bones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Stroud slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Stroud looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bones is one step ahead there.
Stroud is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Stroud seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Bones stays in close to Stroud's body and controls the position.

Bones wants to control from the top but Stroud keeps moving.

Bones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stroud swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Glenn Stroud wasn't active enough on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stroud accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stroud drives through and clinches with Bones against the cage.
Stroud trying to stall but Bones improves his position.
Bones is trying to pull guard but Stroud has him pressed against the cage.

Stroud breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stroud fails in his attempt to clinch.

Stroud rushes Bones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stroud tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bones is looking to control Stroud's arms but Stroud gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bones has his back to the cage.

Stroud escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stroud misses with a takedown attempt
and Bones counters with a big head kick but Stroud shrugs it off.
Bones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stroud looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Stroud drives through with a takedown into Bones's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Stroud is looking to advance position but Bones has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Stroud is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Bones avoids the attempt from Stroud to control.
Bones looking to control but Stroud is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Stroud tries to hold on but Bones postures up.

Bones landing strikes from the mount and Stroud is in trouble!
Bones wants to get back to his feet but Stroud is holding on tight.

Bones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stroud is looking to escape.

Stroud bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Stroud throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bones is looking to sweep but instead, Stroud has passed into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stroud connects with a nice short shot to Bones's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stroud uses his free foot to push down on Bones's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bones.
Stroud is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Bones is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Stroud lands a big elbow.

Bones is rocked!
Stroud has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bones's face.
Oh Bones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stroud trying to control but Bones is having none of it.
Bones can't escape the position.
A big strike lands for Stroud! That's really hurt Bones and he's turned his back - Stroud keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Stroud jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
