Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Rooney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rooney has chosen Belfast Boy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Rooney!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rooney pushes Kimura up against the cage in a clinch.
Kimura struggles to land a body shot inside as Rooney controls his hands.
Kimura is trying to trip Rooney. He has hold of a leg but Rooney is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kimura persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Kimura looking to pass the guard.
Kimura is working hard here to advance position.
Kimura trying to control the position from guard on top but Rooney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kimura thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kimura advances to half guard.
Kimura is pressing down on Rooney's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rooney is holding on for now.

Rooney wants to get back to full guard but Kimura has mounted him!
Kimura looking to control but Rooney is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kimura throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rooney because Kimura loaded up on that one.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kimura pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Kimura wants to control the pace but Rooney is squirming around nicely.
Rooney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kimura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kimura looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Kimura throws some wild stikes that Rooney manages to avoid easily.
Kimura with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kimura has isolated one of Rooney's arms. Rooney looking to fight him off but Kimura twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
