Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Croce!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Croce tries for a takedown but Obasi circles away easily
and Obasi counters with a nice leg kick.
Obasi tries to clinch up but Croce circles away and keeps his distance.
Croce gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Obasi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Croce takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Obasi clinches.
A short right from Obasi.
Obasi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Obasi manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Obasi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Croce has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Obasi throws a head kick that Croce semi-blocks.

It looks like Caio Croce has been cut.
Croce has a takedown stuffed.
John Obasi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caio Croce.

Obasi closes the distance and pushes Croce back into the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Obasi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Obasi lands with a nice combination. Croce backs away looking to recover.

Croce has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Obasi.

and Obasi counters with a low kick, right behind Croce 's knee.

Obasi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Obasi with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Obasi working hard to break the clinch.
Obasi has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Croce - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Obasi, and another! Croce is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
