Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryo Narushima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josip Peric!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narushima takes a kick to the side of the head.
Peric moves out of range as Narushima throws a body kick.
Narushima throws a sloppy head kick and Peric moves out of range easily.
Narushima misses with a low kick.
Narushima feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Peric's calf.
Narushima tries a head kick but it misses.
Narushima misses with a leg kick
and Peric counters with a head kick that drops Narushima to the mat! Narushima scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Narushima is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Narushima chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Peric can pounce on him.
Oh Narushima is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Narushima throws a lazy head kick
and Peric counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Narushima! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Josip Peric!
A relieved looking Josip Peric thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
