Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JP Takedown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson comes to the ring accompanied by Blind Eye Halo. Nikolai Peterson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takedown takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Peterson clobbers Takedown with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Takedown's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Peterson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Takedown scrambles back to his feet.
Takedown throws a series of punches but Peterson moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Peterson lands with a hook. Takedown tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
JP Takedown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Takedown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Peterson to score with a decent uppercut.

Peterson pounces like a tiger and cracks Takedown with a vicious hook! Takedown is down but not out! Peterson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
