The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Tomasz Adamek has been cut.
Adamek shoots for a double leg takedown but Russell sprawls well. He's pushed Adamek's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A big right from Russell misses.
Adamek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Russell circles away.
Adamek misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Shaun Russell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomasz Adamek.
Russell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Adamek shoots in for a takedown but Russell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Adamek avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice uppercut lands for Russell. That snapped Adamek's head back.

Adamek is holding his hands too far apart here. Russell throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Adamek is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
