Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brett Williams!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Richard.
Williams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Richard moves out of range easily.

Richard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard.
Richard is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Williams working a defensive guard but Richard manages to pass into side control anyway.
Richard just content to control the position.
Williams tries to improve position but can't.

Richard tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Williams prevents Richard from moving into mount.

Richard throws a strike aimed at the side of Williams's head but Williams avoids it well.
Richard content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Williams wants to control but Richard postures up.
Richard scoring with punches from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Richard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williams keeps working.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Williams can't do much from the bottom here.

Richard swings around for an armbar but Williams sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Richard's guard.
Richard wants to stand but Williams is controlling the position.
Williams wants to control from the top but Richard keeps moving.
Williams looking to pass the guard.
Richard looking to control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Williams moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Williams lands a head kick. Richard smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Lonnie Richard has been cut.
Williams takes a swing at Richard's ribcage but misses.
Williams tries a head kick but it misses.
Richard takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Richard swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Williams counters with a big head kick but Richard shrugs it off.

Richard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oh Richard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crack! A monster head kick from Williams and Richard falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Williams!
