PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Champ is Here. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reggie Anderson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Escobar is looking to chop away at Anderson's legs.

Reggie Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anderson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Anderson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Escobar was well out of range. Poor timing from Anderson.
Anderson lands a nice hook to Escobar's body. Escobar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Anderson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Escobar momentarily.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Escobar tries to sprawl out of it but Anderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Escobar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
