These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Mctwist shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lom sprawls well. Lom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mctwist gets slowly back to his feet.

Lom tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mctwist paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lom moves forwards but Mctwist connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mctwist misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lom slaps away a takedown attempt from Mctwist, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Lom is looking to clinch but Mctwist is avoiding it.
A left and a right from Lom both land. Nice combination.
Lom lands a slapping body shot.
Mctwist throws a lazy right hand but Lom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lom walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mctwist checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Mctwist throws a hook but Lom blocks it.
Lom doesn't manage to clinch there - Mctwist circles away.
Mctwist connects with a nice looking jab.
Mctwist with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lom to score with a decent uppercut.

and Lom makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Lom throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mctwist shoots for a double leg takedown but Lom sprawls well. He's pushed Mctwist's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Good leg kick by Lom there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

BAM! Lom delivers a spinning backfist that drops Mctwist like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
