Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clive Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Foot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen comes to the cage accompanied by The World's Greatest. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Clive Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Fred Foot!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foot tries for a takedown but Allen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Foot misses with a takedown
and Allen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Foot's guard now.
Foot is trying to control the position but Allen postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foot can do anything to dispel that myth.

Allen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Foot swats away the attempt to clinch by Allen.
Allen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Foot but Foot pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Allen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Foot drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Foot jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Allen wants to stand but Foot is controlling the position.

Allen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Allen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Foot pinned against the cage. Foot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Foot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allen as he jumps to the side.
Allen wants to clinch.
Allen shoots in looking for a takedown but Foot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Allen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Allen misses with a looping left.
The fight stays on the outside here - Allen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Allen closes the distance and pushes Foot back into the cage.
Allen is trying to push Foot away but Foot has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Allen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Foot blocks it with crossed arms.
Allen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Foot walks away with a smile on his face. Allen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Allen stuffs the takedown attempt from Foot. Foot gets slowly back to his feet.
Foot decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Allen is defending against the submission attempts here by Foot.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Clive Allen will probably get the nod.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Allen clobbers Foot with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Foot has a takedown stuffed.
Allen looks to score with a jab to the body but Foot is just out of range.
Allen drives through with a takedown into guard.

Foot is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Allen is controlling him.

Allen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Foot keeps working.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Clive Allen.
Allen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Foot's half guard.
Clive Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Allen tries to pass to full mount but Foot defends it.
Foot tries to roll over but Allen keeps him under control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Allen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Foot!
Foot is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Foot can't escape the position.
Foot is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Foot is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Allen lands a big shot there that rocks Foot but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Allen looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Foot covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Clive Allen decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
