Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Takashi Yamamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Davy Guimba!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto shoots in and drives through. Guimba sprawls well.
Guimba shoots in for a double leg but Yamamoto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yamamoto swings for the body but Guimba moves out of range.
Guimba fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Guimba swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yamamoto shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nice takedown defense from Yamamoto. No joy for Guimba on that attempt.
Takashi Yamamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davy Guimba.
Yamamoto darts in and clinches Guimba up against the cage.
Yamamoto misses with an elbow strike.
Yamamoto throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Yamamoto can't break the clinch.
Yamamoto breaks from the clinch.
Guimba moves out of range of the body kick.
Yamamoto throws a right and a left that both miss.
Yamamoto tries to clinch but Guimba moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Guimba tries for a takedown but Yamamoto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Yamamoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Guimba sprawls well. He's pushed Yamamoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Guimba tries a head kick but it misses.
Some wild striking there from Yamamoto.
A cross from Yamamoto lands.
No luck for Yamamoto with that takedown attempt.
Guimba misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yamamoto wants to clinch.
Guimba throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Yamamoto gets tackled into the cage by Guimba. Guimba maintains the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
With the fighters up against the cage, Yamamoto throws an elbow but misses.
Guimba pushes off an throws an elbow but Yamamoto leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Yamamoto - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A knee to the head by Yamamoto.
Guimba is rocked!
Guimba misses with some punches.
Guimba is still on wobbly legs! Can Yamamoto finish him?
Guimba trying to stall but Yamamoto improves his position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yamamoto manages to break the clinch.
Yamamoto closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Guimba! Yamamoto dives in looking to finish! Guimba is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takashi Yamamoto!
Takashi Yamamoto decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
