Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny OReilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Bear!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from OReilly misses.
OReilly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bear manages to avoid it.
Johnny OReilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OReilly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Bear decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bear is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bear working over OReilly with some ground and pound. OReilly looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
OReilly pushes Bear off looking to stand but Bear dives back in and keeps control.
OReilly trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Bear is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bear is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. OReilly doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bear.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bear thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed OReilly's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
OReilly blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bear.
Bear seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but OReilly does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bear moves into full mount! OReilly won't be happy about that!
Bear trying to control but he's not successful this time.
OReilly wants to try and get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bear unloads with some shots from mount but OReilly bucks and avoids them well.
OReilly is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Bear pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
OReilly's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Bear breaks from OReilly's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Bear tries to control but OReilly wriggling away.
OReilly taking shots to the head.
OReilly's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

You get the feeling that OReilly really doesn't like being in this position too much.

OReilly is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
OReilly is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Bear can't control as he wanted to and OReilly manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bear is sneakily working for an arm triangle but OReilly sees it coming and defends easily.
OReilly tries to kick Bear off but Bear keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bear is trying to control the action in half guard but OReilly is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

OReilly kicks off Bear and gets to his feet.
Bear swings for the body but OReilly moves out of range.
Johnny OReilly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bear throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around OReilly's waist but OReilly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bear off to one side.
Bear shoots in looking for a takedown but OReilly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bear's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
OReilly lands a nice looking body shot.
Bear looks winded!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
OReilly stalks Bear and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bear's face. Bear staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Max Bear has been cut.
OReilly swings for the body but Bear moves out of range.
Bear shoots in looking for a takedown. OReilly tries to sprawl out of it but Bear keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. OReilly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnny OReilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Bear.
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but OReilly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Bear dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Max Bear's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


OReilly with a nice cross.
Bear fails with the takedown.
Bear wants to clinch.

Bear fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. OReilly sprawls well initially but Bear persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
OReilly wants to get back to his feet.

Bear stands up from half guard.
OReilly lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bear backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bear.
Johnny OReilly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A punch combination from OReilly misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
OReilly ducks right into an uppercut from Bear.
Bear wants to clinch.
Bear looks up at the clock. Bad move! OReilly lands a right hand from hell, dropping Bear. OReilly pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny OReilly!
