The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koscheck looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Koscheck is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.
Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jones wants to stand up but Koscheck is controlling him.
Koscheck must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Koscheck accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jones controls Koscheck momentarily but Koscheck frees himself.

Nice takedown defense from Koscheck. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
Koscheck throws a low kick but Jones moves out of range easily.

Koscheck tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jones shoots in but Koscheck avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Koscheck shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Koscheck enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Koscheck manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones is posturing up here but Koscheck has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jones tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jones has to tap! Slick submission there by Koscheck!
