Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mi Vanneia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Diggler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mi Vanneia!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vanneia looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Diggler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Diggler wants it to stay on the feet.

Andrew Diggler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mi Vanneia.
Vanneia circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diggler closes the distance and clinches up with Vanneia, looking for a takedown. Diggler pushes Vanneia against the cage but Vanneia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mi Vanneia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diggler shoots in looking for a takedown. Vanneia tries to sprawl out of it but Diggler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vanneia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Diggler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vanneia as he avoids it easily.
Vanneia throws a right hand that Diggler ducks under and follows up with a left that Diggler also avoids with ease.
Vanneia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vanneia is trying hard to land a takedown here. Diggler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Vanneia scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Vanneia tries to stand but can't do so whilst Diggler controls his leg.

Vanneia prevents Diggler from standing back up.
Diggler moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Vanneia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diggler swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Diggler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vanneia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Diggler is breathing heavily.

Vanneia wants to get up but he can't break Diggler's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Nice sprawl there from Diggler as Vanneia shoots in.

Vanneia shoots for a double leg takedown but Diggler sprawls well. He's pushed Vanneia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Diggler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Diggler clinches up with Vanneia and pushes him back against the cage.

Diggler has had enough of the clinch but Vanneia keeps him there for the moment.
Vanneia tries for a takedown but Diggler manages to get underhooks.
Vanneia drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Vanneia is fighting off a takedown attempt but Diggler is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Vanneia to the mat. Vanneia regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Diggler has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vanneia to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Diggler is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vanneia pulls down on the head and he's put Diggler to sleep! This one is all over!
