Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jj Mcgarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Payet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jj Mcgarry had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgarry is defended easily by Payet.
Mcgarry closes the distance and clinches up with Payet, looking for a takedown. Mcgarry pushes Payet against the cage but Payet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mcgarry.

A nice inside leg kick there by Payet. That's going to slow Mcgarry down.
Payet tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mcgarry closes the distance and clinches up with Payet, looking for a takedown. Mcgarry pushes Payet against the cage but Payet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Oh Mcgarry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Payet dips a shoulder and cracks Mcgarry with a mighty uppercut! Mcgarry falls back against the cage and Payet unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mcgarry is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Payet screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonathan Payet!
After winning the bout, Jonathan Payet thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
