Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horrible takedown by Khan or perhaps it was just good defense by Kingston which made him look bad.

Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kingston looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kingston pushes Khan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Khan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Khan decides to stand back up. Khan steps back and let's Kingston get back to his feet.

and Khan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kingston's guard.

Khan postures up in Kingston's guard and throws a big left but Kingston blocks it.

John Khan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kingston isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Khan stacks Kingston on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Khan!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Khan.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Khan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
