Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mi Vanneia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clubber Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mi Vanneia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lang feints and as Vanneia raises his hands in defense, Lang changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Vanneia working for a triangle but Lang defends it easily.
Lang wants to pass the guard but Vanneia is keeping the position.

Lang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vanneia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lang has managed to get both his arms back between Vanneia's legs - danger averted.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lang slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Vanneia avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lang trying to control but Vanneia is working from the bottom.
Lang tries to free his leg and advance position but Vanneia is retaining full guard.
Lang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vanneia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vanneia had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lang defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lang trying to control but Vanneia is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vanneia is looking to stand up but Lang isn't so interested in that idea.

Vanneia has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lang should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vanneia has tightened it up now! Lang should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
