The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar scores with a hook to the body. Nox takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Caesar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nox as he avoids it easily.
Caesar lands a nice hook to Nox's body. Nox takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Caesar shoots in but Nox avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Caesar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kenny Nox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markus Caesar.

Nox gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Caesar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nox, who protects the arm well.

Caesar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nox knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nox wants to hold on but Caesar pushes him away.
Nox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Caesar on the ground.
