The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serrano wants to clinch up but Ton keeps it at a distance.

Serrano shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ton's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Serrano wants to control from the top but Ton keeps moving.
Serrano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Pete Serrano wasn't active enough on the ground.

No joy there for Serrano, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Serrano tries to land a front kick but Ton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Serrano throws a left that rocks Ton and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Serrano dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Ton regain composure!

Serrano wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ton keeps working.

Pete Serrano has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Serrano cracks Ton with an uppercut from hell and Ton crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Serrano's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Serrano lands with a right and another and another! Ton is in big trouble! Serrano lands again and this time it's lights out for Ton! A quality knockout there for Serrano.
