Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergiy Sklyar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sklyar comes to the cage accompanied by Scarface - No Tears. Vickers has chosen Boats N' Hoes as his entrance music. Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sklyar throws a right and a left that Vickers avoids nicely.
Sklyar darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Sklyar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sklyar lands in his opponent's guard.
Vickers wants to get back to his feet but Sklyar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sklyar is working Vickers over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Vickers wants to sweep here but Sklyar controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sklyar stands and throws Vickers's legs to the side, diving into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sklyar postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sklyar lands a nice forearm strike.
Sklyar throws a strike aimed at the side of Vickers's head but Vickers avoids it well.

Sklyar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Sklyar lands a strong strike to the head of Vickers. That's dazed him! Sklyar looking to finish here. Vickers is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Sklyar lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
