Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guilherme Fonseca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Greg Walker!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walker wants to clinch.

Walker gets a clinch.
Fonseca tries for a takedown. No joy.
Walker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fonseca.
Fonseca is trying to stall.
Fonseca wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Fonseca jumps guard but Walker stands there with Fonseca around his waist. Fonseca gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Walker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fonseca avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Fonseca feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Fonseca seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Walker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fonseca wants to stand up but Walker has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Walker is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Fonseca goes for a takedown in the clinch but Walker prevents it.
Fonseca is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Fonseca has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Walker after a bit of a struggle.

Fonseca wants to break free but Walker has control.
Fonseca tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Walker just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Fonseca shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fonseca was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Walker bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fonseca swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Greg Walker will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Walker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Fonseca has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Walker's body.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Fonseca's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
